Current Events

The 2013 Telluride Plein Air event will take place June 28 through July 4. Artists will arrive and begin painting in and around the Telluride area on June 28th, with the sale to take place on July 3 and 4 in front of the Sheridan Opera House (Oak Street and Elk's Park). The gala premiere and preview sale will be held on July 2 in the Sheridan Opera House. This is a really fun show and a spectacular place to be over the 4th of July. Don't miss it! 

I will be painting in beautiful Crested Butte, CO for three weeks and will have a one man show opening on July 25th!  It is a gorgeous setting and I can't wait to paint there. Two years ago they had a Plein Air show and it was spectacular. Come join me in one of the prettiest spots in Colorado!

The Debra Huse Gallery is the site for the eigth annual Just Plein Fun! Monday, July 29th thru Saturday, August 3rd, fourteen award-winning artists from across teh country will paint plein air scenes around Balboa Island from sunrise to sunset! I will be conducting a 3 day workshop to help you have breakthroughs in your paintings! The workshop will start at 9 and end at 4 everyday. We will talk about the many aspects of painting and will work on areas that will make a difference in the quality of your paintings. The class is limited to 10 people so that I can better help each individual with thier specific needs. On the 5th we will stop by Debra Huse Gallery and view my one man show and discuss more ideas of painting.
